I'll get mine out of the way now: I'll take mine deep fried

    I CANT support JJ anymore.

With this Defense, Special Teams and one of the best tailbacks in the country at Stevan R

We have all the components of a National Championship Team. But no way Jefferson will win us one.

It's time to get a peak at Lee, and this is not because he is 2-2 for 21 or 23 yds this year, it is because Jordan is doing more bad than good. Every positive thing he is doing can be done by Lee. Jefferson is slow, he throws lazy and off the mark passes and he is going to blow this season and waste all this talent. If thats going to happen, let it atleast happen trying dfferent options

Even our players & wr's cant deal with much more.

    Give J-Lee a shot!

No true LSU fan wants to win that argument with you. Do like the ones of us who've questioned his play, we do support him we just aren't satisfied/happy with his output. We hang some of it on him and also lay some at the feet of our coaches too.

I do believe it is taking it's toll on the rest of the team's morale. I get the feeling JJ is becoming frustrated with himself and his competitive side is eating away causing him to feel more and more like he's determined to raise above the glitches and prove he can lead this team.

I also sense J Lee knows his time is nearing and he's silently ready to take over. He exudes confidence.

    Yes Sir.

And for all the times I have backed up JJ and stood by, I cant do it anymore, I'll eat my crow right now!

J-Lee Needs the start. I am sorry JJ - You need some clipboard time.

I cant stand by and watch you throw this team of Championship Caliber Talent in the trash. You will make a great back up and possibly even a 3rd down wild tiger throw the defense off type QB.

But The keyword, Is Backup. The best thing JJ can do for this team is help J-Lee be more successful out there!

Sorry guys, but this is predicated on CLM making the change. I'm not so sure he will.

But, everyone knows what doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results equals.:angryfire

i have to join the club... that was bad. i still don't think it's ALL on jefferson, because i'm still seeing stupid game planning and play calling and it's pissing me off more than jefferson's inadequacies are. i don't care who your QB is, this stupid play calling will not be successful against teams like bama and florida -- possibly arkansas. it's too predictable, it's too anemic, and it won't win LSU any championships.

the receivers still can't catch. even if jarrett lee comes into the game, will they let him throw? because you can't win with ridley alone.

all of this peterson for heisman stuff is getting old, we need to get on the jasper for heisman campaign. :hihi:

I feel the same for the most part. JJ has all the tools but he is the weak link on the team right now. I've been taking up for him the past two years, saying he just needs time and insuring people that he would come around.

I was very disappointed with his performance in the second half. However, it is too late in the season to switch QBs. Hopefully he will improve...or just not f*ck up and lose us a game.

i don't think it's too late, because look at it this way: we have tennessee next week at home. and another point is that it will not take much improvement from jarrett lee because JJ is that bad.

While I totally agree that JJ is not good enough to be an SEC QB, I do support all LSU players who are out there trying. Who lost me last night was CLM. I am not sure I can support a coach who is so blindly stubborn. And that was ridiculous when everyone at TS and watching on TV thought Lee was going in only to shove JJ out there for the last 'real' series of the game.
