Give TAF about 10K and hope that gets you on the waiting list and enough points. Or check out craigslist or ebay (BUT be carefully of scammers..had someone on craigslist try to pull a fast one on me this year)
Yeh good luck. TAF is your only bet and if you do get some you will be in Steerage.... You can be put on a waiting list if you DONT want to go the TAF route.
make friends with a really old season ticket holder, and become like the "son" or "daughter" he or she never had and then right before they kick the bucket get them to sign something leaving the season tickets to you. Or does TAF scoop them back up? You know thats a good question, if your mom and dad are season ticket holders or grandparents, can they leave the tickets to you in a will?
I dont think LSU does that. IE allow people to will them to people. Maybe but I think I remember my friends Dad has some great seats for years and he wanted to pass them to his Son in his name and LSU said you cannot do that, they had to be in his fathers name.
My initial reaction is as long as LSU is getting the revenue from the tickets, why should they care whose butt is sitting in them. Let me add, that I'm talking about the specific issue of a tickets rights being passed to a relative in a will.
The thing I have a problem with is the ticket brokers. They are able to spend the money on baseball, basketball and any other sporting events which propelles them up the TAF ladder and then they get the season tickets and sell them off. I know LSU doesnt care because money is money but something should be done to prevent these *******s from scooping up tickets! It makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the fan that goes to every game or tailgates for everygame to have the money to go to national championship when they do happen!
