How can you guaranty your baseball teams wins the state final?

    The Catholic Church thinks this is still the 12th century and it shows. They spited their own team just to defend a medieval dogma.

    its not 12th century to divide sport by gender.

    before the season started, the catholic team asked the other teams if they had any girls. they said no. the team with the girl was desperate for players (these are very small schools and they struggle to even field a team) and has to play the girl.

    it is perfect reasonable to want to play single gender sports. i play coed sports myself and love them, but i also play single gender sports. there is a large difference. both are competitive, but not in the same way. in coed sports there are times when you are an asshole to try really hard and be aggressive. in single gender sports that is never true and you are rewarded for it.

    by fielding a team with a girl, they make a no-win situation for the other teams. you win, you are assholes because you are beating a team with a girl, you lose, you are idiots because even a team with a girl is better.

    is it soo much to ask just to have a single gender sport? must we accommodate every person with every request they make to ruin things for others?

    it's kids though, let the girl play. I think they forfeited because they didn't want a girl to school them and make them look like a bunch of pansies.

    Or the Catholic church simply does not view little girls and boys as equal in all aspects, because they are not..

    Never will be..

    Not sure what the 12th century has to do with it.

    Sounds more like Islam to me.

    Just a metaphor for medieval. In that period the Church acquired Popes and became a gender-based hierarchy. The early Church was more inclusive of women.

    Women are not equal though, even when we put them into certain roles, they get special rules.

    Take the military for example; they are allowed to do the same job function, yet get to do less on Physical Fitness standards. Why?

    They will never be able to be as strong as men in almost everything physical. The mental aspect is the ONLY place where women and men are equal. Even then it seems most are bipolar.... :)

    Once women could not vote because they were thought to be uninterested and not smart enough. Radical islam thinks that women should not be educated and should stay in the house. Why put limits on women?

    Because they are physically smaller. If they can get the job done, what does it matter?

    So what does it hurt to let them compete above their level if they wish to? Honey Badger is too small to play football, what did it hurt to let him try?

    Because there job standard is weaker than that of a man. Not equal.

    It changes the game. Some people will intentionally destroy her while others will take it easy on the chick..

    All the same reasons the women's BBall league would not let Coby go play for them.. He would smash...

    well.....

    if you took away the women's vote in almost all of the recent presidential elections, the better candidate would have won. women are even worse about voting based on charm only. it makes a more fair society that women vote, and we should be fair, but it doesnt mean better candidates get elected, it means worse candidates get elected.

    anyways red the point is that if some fellas want to play in a mens league, there is nothing wrong with that. if they refuse to play opponents that let women play, that is perfectly reasonable.

    again, the catholics asked all the other teams before the season if they had women on the team and they all said no.
