You are correct. The Saints would have been 11-5.

At this point, I think we can already credit Williams with both the Jets and Bills game.

Definitely give him credit, but, and I hate doing this cuz I don't like Lee Corso. Not so fast my friend!

I give half the credit to Payton for running the ball when the passing game isn't clicking. Last year, he forces the issue, we turn the ball over 2-3 times and we lose.

But ultimately when you can play defense like this, it makes it easier to coach on the offensive side of the ball.

not playing reggie bush has had more of an impact than even hiring sean payton and greg williams combined.

but yeah that latter dude brings it.

is there a better corner in the nfc than jabari greer? not that ive seen.

and this dude was a throw-away.

any better safety than sharper? not in finding the ball.

best secondary saints have ever had. hope they can maintain some semblance of this play.

however, greg williams biggest asset is getting the fat-asses up front to finally play to their potential.

That's pretty amazing considering the atrocity that was the Saints secondary last year, but you're right. An absolutely amazing turnaround in one season, and I certainly can't remember a better unit for the Saints. Some fan favorites like Sammy Knight come to mind, but not nearly the talent of this unit.

Gregg Williams unreal job vs the Pats with no cornerbacks healthy.

Greer, Porter and Gay (he played one series).

How big of an impact will Williams have? Pretty damn big. Looks like Saints fans were right in feeling if we could get the defense off the field every once in a while, the offense would take care of the rest.

And more importantly all the turnovers and short fields given to the offense. Except it hasn't been short fields very much as they have decided to take it all the way to the house.
