Take away the need for money. No more ads. No more so called get out the vote spending. Publish your platform, the media will report it as written. Would you like to stop getting those phone calls ? All that mail ? Watching those ads ? I would.
NC is a big Gerrymandering battle ground. I grew up, and voted, in the infamous NC-12. Until it was re-districted it was the poster child for Gerrymandering. Of course it was "good" Gerrymandering since it all but assured a minority Congressman. Anyway I have seen incredibly sophisticated, and impartial software that can draw districts"perfectly." Of course pols are far from perfect so it is not used!
