This article says it best. Will USC stub its toe at Washington? USC is getting plenty of praise for its come-from-behind victory over Ohio State, but the Trojans always play well in high-profile showdowns. They sometimes slip up in under-the-radar games, such as this week’s trip to Washington. USC has lost five games since the start of the 2006 season; four of those losses were major upsets against Oregon State and UCLA in 2006, Stanford in 2007 and Oregon State again in 2008. The timing of this game also makes it seem tricky. USC often isn’t at its best when it’s coming off a highly publicized victory. The 2006 loss to UCLA came a week after a 20-point rout of Sugar Bowl-bound Notre Dame. The Trojans followed up their 35-3 blowout of Ohio State last season with their stunning loss to Oregon State. It’s tough to imagine the Trojans overlooking this game because Washington coach Steve Sarkisian is a former USC offensive coordinator and Huskies defensive coordinator Nick Holt was the defensive coordinator at USC last season. But the Trojans’ recent history suggests they just might be ripe for an upset. - STEVE MEGARGEE [rl] By the way, I'm not a left coaster. I'm a Louisiana guy who happens to live in Arizona but I think I already explained that in one or two other posts.
The more I read I might bet UDub with the points but no way straight up. However remember a couple of years ago they were 41 point favorites over Stanford? I don't have anything against USC but I'd like to see them lose this one because they don't have a lot of chances to lose going through the Pac 10. Their next best chance to lose is probably California. It's not like having to go through the SEC meat grinder especially looking at our schedule this year with most of the tuff games away from Tiger stadium. When we finally DO get one at home it's frickin Florida. By the way, what do you all think is going to happen in the Swamp THIS weekend. Think Kiffen might learn to be a little more humble?
I talked myself out of the $100 on them instead I put.. $20 each on UDub, Duke and Tulsa and then $20 parlay. $80 risked.......could win $17,140.00
