We Tiger fans are just talking about this one because we played their opponent two weeks ago. It's an unwitting comparison of the two teams in our minds, which is thus far the closest we've gotten to them. If, and that's a big 'if', the Huskies and their crowd bring the same intensity that they brought against us, they certainly have a chance to pull it off. Oregon St. did it to them in 2007 in Corvalis, and that SC team was much stronger than this one. This is the first I've heard of the injury to Barkley possibly keeping him out of the game. But if he can't play, then it could get interesting.

Sounding like Aaron Corp is going to get the nod to Pete Carroll's dismay. If UW shows something against USC, are the chicken little LSU fans going feel better about their team? What if USC does lose this game?
I've been checking out some of the UDub forums and ya know maybe they do have a chance. What they are pointing out is that Barkley is out and Corp the soph starts. They say that even though he has more experience than Barkley he doesn't have the same type of gun. Plus when Sarkasian was OC there he also coached the QB's much like Chavis does our LB's so he probably knows every tendency & weakness that Corp has. Also Taylor Mays who is the heart of their defense was questionable most of the week. It looks like he will play but probably not at 100%. The bad news for UDub is that their prize safety from the past recruiting class has been kicked off of the team this week for "breaking team rules". For sure there won't be many surprises in plays between the 2 teams since Sarkasian & Carrol know each other like the back of their hands and are actually good friends. Knowing USC's tendency to drop the ball at least once every year, this may be it!
