    First time a Manning threw the game clinching touchdown for the Saints in a Super Bowl. :D

    Yes it is kinda silly, but it is fun to point out just how exciting this win is by putting it into all the firsts the Saints accomplished not only in the history of the Super Bowl, but as the Saints franchise. It just makes it all more real.:grin:

    not a first but a third, reggie is the 3rd player to win a national championship, heisman, and superbowl ring. other 2 are Marcus Allen and Tony Dorsett.

    I would guess that this would be true and did not even thinnk about that.

    The Saints have to be the first team to lose the last 3 regular season games and go on to win the Super Bowl, surely no other team has done that right? They also gave up the longest drive in a Super Bowl for the old Saints fans who are used to the Saints holding every negative record in football history.
