After mentioning that I signed up, I talked to a guy at work today that is in the "LSU circle" when it comes to football. He was telling me that we are very interested in a kid from our local area (Houston). He claims a visit in the next 2 weeks will probably get him an offer, but it may become an LSU/UF battle.

The name is Randy Bullock, a kicker from Klein Oaks HS. He is rated as the #1 kicker in Texas and just happens to be the best friend of OT J Shugarts.

    Sorry, a few corrections:

    1) He goes to Klein HS.
    2) The other kid's name is JB Shugarts. He has an offer from us, but gave Ohio State a verbal. However, several people have said that if the kicker commits to either LSU, A&M, or UF that he has a good chance of following.
    3) He kicks AND punts. Supposedly the coaches see him as a redshirt, but are also considering having him splitting time with one of the other two. They "want" to have him do the FGs because of his accuracy.

Gotta agree with philter here. He might get a priority walk-on invite or something but LSU isn't taking another kicker this year.

I wouldn't expect him to get an offer, but it probably depends on how the 2 we signed last year perform.
