Hello Tiger fans! I am in desperate need for some information about where to stay. We just need to stay Saturday night and somewhere that has a shuttle or walking distance to the stadium. I have called some places, but almost everything is sold out. This was a last minute ticket purchase and I don't want to miss this game!! Any suggestions??

At this time, you're limiting yourself if you are only looking for places within walking distances or that have a shuttle. You may have to try and find a place in Port Allen or Denham Springs and take a cab in on gameday.

Did you try the Hilton Downtown...they have a suttle I think.

Baton Rouge Hotels - Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center Hotel, LA - Louisiana

    Otherwise Brett may be right.

that or bud lee's rent a car idea.

because even last weekend for moo u, pretty much everyone was booked.

port allen would be the easiest if you can find a room there.

I just checked Expedia and there are still plenty of hotels available. You might want to avoid those near Cortana Mall as the surrounding neighborhood is not too pristine. Embassy Suites is near College and I 10 but still a cab ride away from the stadium. Hotels near the Mall of La are nice but another 5 miles away. Port Allen hotels are right across the Miss River but not as far as you would think.

    Options are wide open.

Whatever hotel you end up staying at, there will be LOTS of people going to the game...people you can bum a ride with.

Don't worry...come to the game...it'll work out, you'll find a ride. I bet you can hitch hike in WVU colors with a sign that says "Death Valley...please" and easily find a ride from the hotel.

    Have faith...just do it !!
