We have always taken in refugees who were in dire need. A lot of Vietnamese came to this country after the war. Surely among those thousands of refugees were someembers of the Viet Cong and NVA regulars who fought against us. But they were not a danger to commit terrorist acts once they arrived on American soil. Maybe most of the Syrians are no immediate threat. Bit unlike the Vietnamese, they are members of a religion that preaches violence to all who don't hold the same beliefs. If we let thousands of them into the country it is dead certain that there will be at least a few hundred sworn jihadists among them And as one senator pointed out, there is no way to effectively vet them through background checks. How in hell would we do a background check? Hack into the abacuses of the villages they say they come from?
Again, even Isis doesn't kill people for the crime of non conversion. Muslims are more opposed to apostasy, leaving the Muslim faith. Almost all religions, with the notable exception of Judaism, are trying to spread the faith.

The whole argument I keep hearing from far left liberals about how America created ISIS, and how we bomb women and children too and civilians is a total crock of shit.
