John, I am not sure I really understand your tone. You are usually very pro LSU, but you almost sound as if you are routing for PSU. I know you want everyone to take PSU serious, and I think most of us do. Posting PSU's strengths is cool and very informative, but I think you are brain washing yourself into being a PSU fan.
Speed doesn't mean jack by itself ... it's just one part of the equation of how great you are. Sure, Penn State has some serious speed ... but our big and physical WRs is something I love (the NFL scouts as well). Speed ain't going to help you when you are up in the air fighting for the ball.
Let's hope a fire has been lit in our OL and our future running backs make a case for why they are at LSU.:helmet:
well the crappy field affects PSU as well as LSU. but we need to be able to throw the ball to win. so maybe it does favor LSU slightly.
good god, that field looks like sh*t! and they were just saying that they had some of the pregame "festivities" on it and had a wagon on the field that left "lines". which i take to mean ruts. way to get your freakin priorities for what the field is for straight. idiots! :rolleye33:
Never seen a worse field for a bowl. I got a plowed up corn field out behind the house. If they want, they can call the game, and bus them up here. Would be a lot better. Geaux Tigers. hwr
pretty good first series for LSU. jefferson looks to be "on." based on those two passes. just a bad decision to run for first down on third and eight -- especially on that field.
He almost threw a pick6 there... i've seen less water in swimming pools than whats laying on this grass today.
