Horrible defense

Yep keep in mind the first 3 years of Miles when Pelini coached defense was Saban recruiting class. Pretty damn stout

 

I will say, it wouldn't be so terrible if we had anything that resembled an offense

 

25.7 ppg is the worst in the last 20 years. We would have to have one hell of an offense to overcome those numbers.

I agree with you on offense though. I have come to expect it on offense though with Miles during his tenure. I expect better from our defense though

 

The LSU defense is now as bad as the LSU offense... give Miles another year with this staff intact, LSU will be 4-8.

 

Why didn't we go after Pelini for this job after he left Nebraska? I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

 

I mean for defensive coordinator, not head coach.

oh. but still no. too many mics on the field for him to make it. cussing out the 8 year olds in the stands would be his undoing.

 

That's part of the reason I love him. My vote stays with him. If he coaches a top-5 defense, he can drop the F-bomb at a campus-wide speech in my book.
