Hornets trade Okafor and Ariza to Wizards for Rashard Lewis and pick

    It was a bad trade for the wizards. I'm wondering how they agreed to that trade too. I'm also wondering if there was behind the scene pressure from the NBA commissioner on Grunfeld to make the trade as part of favor owing to Benson for taking the Hornets off the NBA's hands.

    The NBA is the most rigged sport there is. Stern probably promised the Wizards a championship in the next 10 years or so, if they eat these contracts now.

    Wow. After reading that it really seems like the Wizards got jobbed.

    I saw Jordan's face when the Hornets won the lottery. I bet he's really pissed now.

    It was mutually beneficial, but the fact that not only did the Hornets not lose the #10 pick, but actually gained the #46? Yeah, it was a bit lopsided. The #46 is a throwaway pick for some depth. #1 and #10 in this draft could add some serious talent with size to the Hornets' roster and make a HUGE impact for the next few years. Plus, it leaves a lot of cap room to sign Gordon to a max deal and another star this year or next should someone worthy come available.

    Call me nuts, but I am starting to think that CP3 in 2013 is a real possibility...
