    CP3 can get tweak something or have something ache, and all it takes is that he decides he doesn't want to play while injured over something he might have done in the past.

    I didn't follow what was happening in Toronto, but that's essentially what their GM has said what Bosh did with the Raptors- he stayed on the bench too long after getting injured, even after he had been medically cleared to play.

    I could see a NBA player, who wants to jump ship, thinking, "Man, why should I go out there again when this team is going nowhere. If I go out and play, I might get hurt again, even more seriously this time, and not get the money I want in this upcoming contract."

    Say what you will about Kobe, but he never took a quarter off and played through some season-ending injuries when most players would have cried Uncle. I don't think enough credit was ever given to Kobe for playing with a fractured index finger on his shooting hand.

    I wouldn't go that far. Check the game 7 against the Suns they lost a couple years back. He's done this from time to time, but he does it to prove a point and usually makes up for it.
