If your handle is secfootball, you are not defending the sec, instead you started a flame war. Why wouldn't they defend their conference and slam you considering your first post? You think LSU sites would be nicer(this one doesn't count), if a Texas fan came here and posted what you did? This is how you represent LSU?? :insane::insane::insane:
SabanFan, Good post. It's always good to read what others are saying about us, but I enjoyed that one more because it was not an SEC thing. Since they don't play us every year, I think they can be a little more unbiased. I think they showed respect for our program (cheating comments aside, but many were not happy with the cheating comments made without substantiation, as was I). I bookmarked the site, will check them out in the future. Gotta hand it to em, they had a good list of our campers!
dont forget that they had a lot more exposure to clm from his OSU days. that "ive got big balls" thing doesnt go over as well when you arent good enough to back it up. at least he didnt do the "im a man. im 40" bit.
I was pulling for Texas "all the way". Many reasons, mostly the USC humbug with us in 03 season. Plus, I liked the way VY played. I thought he deserved the Heisman, and the big time press screwed him out of it, IMO.
