If things continue how they are Saban certainly is right there with the Bear. Saban is coaching in a much tougher era, with more diversity. Yet he has far and away the best program in the country right now. He loses quite a few players every year, but he still wins and adapts to personnel.

Guess you missed the Yahoo story, names, dates, receipts, etc, nothing done. The choice of cars, Dodge Charger.
Want to know who's a good coach, ask another coach. Want to know who's cheating, ask another coach.

If you count the NC Nick won at LSU, then I think there's a chance that he could match and possibly exceed the number of NCs Bear won. I think the 14 SEC championships is out of reach.

I just don't see how he can not win every game. To have to #1 recruiting class the last 5 out of 6 years. It's like an NFL team getting the first pick in the draft for the last 20 years

Unfortunately all schools cheat. Bama is just more brazen about it than others.

Recruiting rankings have some merit but star rankings do not mean everything. Many top NFL picks were three stars. What Saban does better than others is coaching them up. As well as evaluating players who fit his systems and what position they will play.

If recruiting rankings always translated on the field then USC would have won as much as Saban and Bama have.

Exactly ,like him or hate him the man is a good college coach and one of the greats. He's won everywhere he's wen't so that makes him a winner. Most of the hate in LSU country is because he was here and left for the pros. Its not like he left us for bama he tried the pros out and decided it was not for him. If LSU truly wanted him back then they would have ditched Miles and got him back in Baton Rouge when they had the chance. Would that have been right to miles , no but he would have quickly been employed by someone else. Don't hate Saban for our AD's short comings and lack of better judgement i'm sure Saban would have come back here as hes stated in previous interviews it was a mistake to leave LSU in the first place......now as for Bama , fuck them
