According to Dandy Don's website, over the weekend, Brady's men hoops program welcomed an Alex Farrer, a 6'5" forward from Arizona, to LSU for a visit. Based upon his stats, he's projected probably to play some shooting guard in college, averaging about 18 points, 7+ boards and about 55% from 3 land. Seems like a good go-after, since he's a big shooting guard who might be able to shoot it from outside, and is probably under the radar for a lot of teams. Anyone know anything about the visit or other visits that LSU has scheduled? With high school basketball recruiting happening sooner and sooner, it seems as though many kids are going for their visits even before the summer hoops leagues... :bball: :geauxtige
More Farrer Scoop Alex seems like a motivated kid, perhaps someone who will help the program and Brady with its "continuity" issue. Brady needs some kids that are team players and tough, and Alex seems like he brings some much needed shoot skills, size and attitude to the team... http://www.hoopmasters.com/article.php?aid=1117115849 http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/sports/articles/0528hsnb0528.html I particularly liked the fact that he has a balanced line (saw some good rebounding, assists and blocks numbers, which tells me he's a hustler, good team player) and led his team to the state championship despite the fact that his team's star point guard did not play.
