I've been reading about this and a guy like this really intrigues me. From what I have read it appears he is a shot blocking, rebounding freak with very raw and undeveloped offensive skills. This could be the perfect fit for us since it appears that Pelle is going to stay close to home at SDSU. Could be a long shot but, who knows, maybe JJ can pull it off.

It's so hard to project what is going to happen. It all depends on the transfer rumors and whether or not Jones wants to save any schollies for next year. Even if we go to a run-and-gun style, we need big men.

Yes, there is definitely a post problem, and probably would have been even if Hamilton hadn't left. We had two players under 6' that had loads of minutes last year, though, and have gotten a lot more size at the 2, which is something that we desperately needed. Maybe the tuba player can eat up some minutes this year.

Rosetta tweets Pat Swilling Jr is a Tiger. A whole lotta 2s/3s in this class. I wonder if someone is leaving.

I have read seperate rumors stating that Turner, Stringer and Isaac, or some combination of the three are transferring. As of now it is strictly speculation.....with all the 2's and 3's that we are signing, some attrition is probably inevitable. Not to beat the dead horse but we definitely need a big....two of them would be even better.

More news. We have offered another 2/3 for 2012. Mislav Brzoja.

Somebody or somebodies must be on the way out.

Agreed.....something is happening, otherwise why take so many 2/3 types. I guess it is to be expected. Read that Brzoja is visiting Kentucky right now.....

Of the three rumored to be on the way out, I think losing Issac hurts the most. He is the best defender, and I feel like he has a lot of upside.

no doubt. I would rather lose Turner and Stringer than Isaac. I thought Isaac showed some flashes last year....just needs to learn to play under control a little more. Turner has never really impressed me and Stringer is expendable given all the backcourt types we are adding.
