Tiger in Horn and in NC, thanks for the updates. Y'all are obviously on top of things. It's helping me get caught up. Great info and insights!
I hear what you're saying about hiring an assistant coach that has connections with a Big. We've done that before with the head coach and a great prospect. Too bad both Press and Pete are defunt
So a Malone playing football and a Swilling playing basketball gotta love the irony. If its true this has turned into a nice class on paper for coach jones. really looking forward to see what out team does next year and what he can do with a full year to recruit. And I gotta say after seeing him play Bridgewater is a must get post player if he choose to go the basketball route.
I have been trying to read up on Pat Swilling Jr. but haven't found a wealth of information on his game. Can anyone give us an idea of what Swilling brings to the table? Also, does he have to sit out a year or can he play immediately? I am assuming he will have two years of eligibility remaining. Thanks to anyone who can help!
I've seen this on a few boards but nothing official...with the abundance of wing players we have, it makes you wonder what's in play behind the scenes... CJJ said he wouldn't waste a ship to fill a roster spot...so is he expecting a transfer, getting ready 2 play small ball or getting the NO pipelines started?
OK, we've got Morgan (6'3 guard), Hammink (6'6 guard), Coleman (6'6 wing) and maybe Swilling (6'3 guard) on board. That gives us 9 perimeter players and only 4 players over 6'8. That includes Jalen Courtney, who's really more of a SF than an inside player, Eddie Ludwig, who is not an SEC starter-calibre forward, and 7'2 Andrew Del Piero, who played 12 minutes last season. Anyone else see a problem here?
Tobe Okafor was released from his LOI to Loyoal Marymount. He is 6-11 and 230. Rumblings that Johnny has contacted him.
