Anyone who has Rivals needs to go watch the new Brian Williams highlight tape. I'm extremely impressed. I want him, Ludwig, and Pressey, and a couple of big men including Tobey O. Make it happen, Trent.
Agreed. Williams looks like a nice fluid looking SG, with a variety of skills. Most of all the tape shows a nice smooth jumper that is solid from mid-range out to the three. The question is how do you fit in all of the back court players. Clearly Trent has made Phil Pressey a priority at Point. Langston Galloway is your annointed LA "best player" at a combo guard spot. Then, you have Brian Williams and Matt Derenbecker at 2 and 3. That leaves maybe one spot for a big man, preferably two (Ludwig is already in the house :wink. Clearly, Trent is going with a first come first serve mentality. He's recruiting LA hard, but he's also saying that LSU isn't waiting around for you to decide. That explains going after kids like Phil P and Toby O hard. 2010 has the makings of a very nice class, though, if one of the big dominos falls. :geauxtige
Jordy is on record as asking Pressey's dad to tell his son to consider LSU (Pressey's dad is a Hornets assistant coach). I'm not sure how that will pan out. :grin:
