Just to let you know, Turner does have an official visit set to LSU. Looks like he visited ND this past weekend and will visit LSU, UGA, and Butler on officials over the next few months. I would be suprised if he isn't an LSU commit by November. I hope Pressey comes as well. That would be a tough backcourt for years to come.

So, according to Scout, this weekend LSU hosts Stringer, along with Courtney, starting Friday, and Derenbecker joins them on Saturday. No more new definitive news on Turner's or Pressey's dates.

Also, I was syched to see that the college basketball rags are starting to come out. It's probably best for a general, non-recruiting thread, but Athlon picks LSU last in the SEC West. Underdog again, it seems. :yelwink2:

Well, you may not have to wait too long to find out. Turns out Rivals is reporting that it is TURNER that is coming in this weekend, along with Matt Derenbecker. It appears that Matt and Ralston have been keeping in touch and Ralston's definitely interested in the program, although noone know whether he'll commit this weekend. Ralston is supposedly looking forward to the "fanbase" at LSU, so hopefully the fans will recognize and give him his props.

Stringer and Courtney will visit later due to Stringer having to take an ACT test this weekend...

Thats awesome...like i said on the other site....with derenbecker and turner getting close and stringer and courtney already close....it looks like this group could potentially be a real tight knit group all around which could lead to a lot of positives on the court, I hope this all works out for the best.

The crowd went nuts when the team, along with Coach Trent and Shaq, took the field. I hope that made the day for Ralston, despite the weather.

It was a nice touch. Too bad on TV you only saw Shaq and a little glimpse of Trent's head shaking Shaq's hand.

In any case it's smart to showcase the other LSU teams that way in Death Valley. Huge exposure for the kids on the campus and in the community and they deserve it. Hope Ralston got a kick out of it. Let's see if he commits or if he visits Ole Miss and Butler...

Next weekend Stringer comes into town. Better weather hopefully, if not a better opponent. :geauxtige
