NOT BAD!!! I know it looks great on paper! DON'T WORRY (AR) WILL BE A TIGER FOR TWO years! sometime you just never know..... they think there ready to come and they are NOT...... LOOK FOR THE SEC TO BE MUCH QUICKER!!! THE DAYS OF THE BIG AND SLOW...... MAYBE A THING OF THE PAST (READ ESPN) news clip last week..... LOOK AT THE NBA GUYS THAT ARE OVER 6'9 6'11 they can run the court like a deer..... it's good to have a big body in the paint.... but you must be able to run THE FLOOR.....
This is certainly a fair point, and problem that has plagued Brady. I've got to think tho' that some of this is really the players' fault and perhaps needing to assess these players a little better, in addition to Brady's historic tendency to not be creative with substitution patterns. But, I will say that you also have to look at some of these kids, Dameon Mason for one, that have stayed. And, if you want to play at the top level of CBB, the one and done phenomenon is here to stay. If AR is one and done, that's the kind of thing you tolerate. B/c it means LSU has put the kid on the map and he's moving on for his betterment. QT leaving is a possibility certainly, but with a medical RS, he's got two years playing SEC basketball ahead of him. Otherwise, you've got two Atlanta GA players likely to get some good PT. You're right, they're coming here as buddies from the same AAU team and they're coming b/c of Coach Dollar. It's up to Dollar and staff to make it work, but you can't always predict how these things are going to play out. It does sort of remind me of Rolle and Johnson coming from Laurinburg Prep, but (1) let's hope that Graham and Harris have a little better heads screwed on than Magnum (I think they do), and (2) you can see both having a decent amount of PT in the next few years if they stick it out. Nevertheless, you are right. Now it becomes Brady's (and their) job to make it work long-term with these recruits. I think the staff is starting to focus a little bit more on "close to home" targets (to me that's TX, LA, MS, GA and SE) with real want to in being here. I also think that this year, you're hopefully going to see some new schemes on display, which I predict will hopefully encourage Brady to substitute more and the kids to be a little more content.
Power forward Storm Warren (6-7, 215) of Richwood High School in Monroe will visit LSU officially this weekend after rescinding his commitment to Baylor last week. Warren says his decision to look heavily at LSU is due to the proximity to home. "I'm pretty interested," Warren said. "Coach Brady says I will fit in their program real well. "It's a great school and a great program and that is where I should have been anyways." Last season Warren averaged 22.3 points, 18.1 rebounds and 9.0 blocked shots. He is ranked as the nation's No. 35 power forward Rivals.com. ___________ Sounds like he's almost 100% sure he's a Tiger. The nine blocks a game is incredible.
Tigernhornland - you'll have to wait until next year for your wishes for backcourt players. I know that LSU's trying to land Georgia SG Brandon Reed and his teammate, Collin Reddick.
