Yes, I believe so. The Tigers were reporting 4 schollies available for this class. I think this is a nice little surprise. I certainly saw it as a possibility that Storm would change his mind, after committing to Baylor so early. We were lucky that Monroe made his decision public so soon, after saying he might wait until Spring. The truth was that Monroe was keeping several LA kids from seriously considering LSU and that's sad b/c Monroe was probably a one and done kid. I'd love to have Storm Warren, one of the top LA kids this year, to sign and play 4 years at LSU. A hard worker down low, he can be a nice complement to some of the kids we might have next year, including J'Mison in the low post, Randolph more on the outside. Storm, I've wanted you from the beginning! :geaux: :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. BE A FAN.
HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! Just Awesome news. And, what does this mean... two of Texas' top big men in back to back years? Wow. http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/10975461.html Storm Warren could make the class a very nice one with some hometown appeal... “I’m very interested in LSU and I always have been,” Warren said Wednesday. “They’re really the only school I’ve contacted (this week). I’m ready to take an official visit down there next week.” http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/lsu/10934676.html?index=18&c=y :geaux:
