It's been reported as November 2nd, his birthday. Should be an announcement all Tiger fans are watching...
For what it's worth, Mike Scarbrough has reported for about the fourth straight week that, from everything he's heard, LSU is in the lead with Alabama being the close second.
Agreed. Signing Morgan is the difference between a ranked class and an unranked one. When you look at the Tigers' line-up though, how can J'Mison NOT consider the Tigers? We've got a front line that is clearly lacking of muscle down low. We're relying on 196 Chris Johnson and 212 Garrett Green for our 'bounds and defense. J'Mison COME ON! Seriously though, just thought I'd post this... Tigers' last class rated in the top 25 based upon the fact that Anthony Randolph headlines a class that is probably a little underrated. Marcus Thornton as one of JUCO's best scorers should have moved the Tigers a little higher. I'm waiting to see what Bo Spencer and Garrett Green can do tho'... Rivals calls Garrett a "sleeper..." http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=730394 As for '08, with J'Mison Morgan, you've got a top 30, top 75 (Delwan Graham), and then a sleeper in Dennis Harris. May qualify the Tigers for a top 20-ish class.... WATCH OUT in '09!
Post #11294 Canton, Ga MyFanPage Add BuddyRe: PLAYERS LEAVING GA. CLASS 2008Reply My Man- I do agree with you, for the 1st Time:grin:   I will say once More we are LOADED HERE IN GA. Read-from Justin Young take on GA..... The Pipe-line is open for LSU:grin:   TRUST ME! MORE COMING tO LSU JUST HOLD ON FOR THE RIDE!!!! this is unreal- class 2009 will be the same just like 2005-06-07-08 NBAONE! We discussed this on the college hoops board as well. Here is what I wrote: Georgia only has two high-major programs, roughly six scholarships a year between the two programs. Georgia Tech is going to recruit nationally because of academics and generally Georgia lands one out of state player each year. So trim that number to three scholarships a year. It's a numbers crunch. Georgia produces a ton of Division I talent. They just can't all go to the state high-major schools. Schools like Texas and California have a ton of talent and a ton of high-major programs, making it easier to stay in state. FYI, here is a list of the Division I committments in Georgia so far: Class of 2008 committed players Chase Anderson, SG, Mill Creek (Air Force) Al-Farouq Aminu, PF/SF, Norcross (Wake Forest) Elhanan Bone, PF, Washington County (UNC Greensboro) Shane Burrell, PF, Sound Doctrine (Alabama A&M) James Fields, PG, Beach (Georgia State) Gideon Gamble, SG, Westlake (Winthrop) Darius Garrett, PF, McEachern (Richmond) Delwan Graham, PF, Dunwoody (LSU) Yaw Gyawu, SF, Parkview (Colgate) Dennis Harris, PF/SF, Mundy’s Mill (LSU) Dequan Jones, SF, Wheeler (Miami) Tyler McDaniel, PF/SF, Meadowcreek (Tennessee Tech) P.J. Meyers, PG, T.W. Josey (Campbell) Reggie Middleton, PG, Glenn Hills (Winthrop) Tony Mitchell, SF, Swainsboro (Alabama) Darius Morrow, C, Columbia (South Carolina) Chris Reynolds, SG, Glenn Hills (Campbell) Ralph Sampson, III, C, Northview (Minnesota) Tanner Smith, SG, Wesleyan (Clemson) Jerel Stephenson, SG, Glenn Hills (UNC Wilmington) Matt Sundberg, SG, Harrison (College of Charleston) Howard Thompkins, PF, Wesleyan (Georgia) Toby Veal, PF, Savannah Johnson (Colorado) J.C. Storm Warren de-commited from Baylor. Storm is going to sign in November, and is looking to sign instate. He's looking at LSU, LaTech, and ULM. Him and Morgan commiting to LSU could lock up a great class that fits a need for lack of big men.
