Are you related to him or something? What all can he do? He looks very interesting, and it's unfortunate that Rivals doesn't have any of his footage up yet.
I'll give Coach Dollar his props when we get some GA ink. And, I saw that stat too. It's an impressive line, he shot 82% FG, and had 4.5 assists and 3.5 blocks. It tells you that you've got a very skilled big man. He's thin framed and I would worry that we've got another Chris Johnson on our hands, that needs time to bulk up and develop an inside game, but something tells me Dennis is a better prospect at this stage. I think he's also starting to realize what a lot of big men see in LSU. LSU has a top-notch strength and conditioning program to go along with a basketball program that highlights the low post. And a good track record with big men getting to the NBA, certainly better than UCF and Rice . Dennis would be a nice pick up. As a potential three, however, you'd have to view him him similarly to Randolph. The test would be who develops a stronger low post game for both of them to be on the court. Hard to imagine two 6'10" thin swing forwards playing in the perimeter. It seems like Brady has really gone after the lanky 6'9-10" softer big men who could shoot in the past couple of years (Johnson, Rolle, Green, Randolph). Time to go after some weight down low, guys. Need to have the rebounding and blocked shots too.
If you believe anything that Jerry Meyer of Rivals says, here's his thoughts on J'Mison Morgan. He claims that 'Bama, Cincy and Kansas may be leaders, along with UCLA hotly pursuing. The odds may be a little tough on Morgan too. It's a crowded field vying for his attention, but that's what you get when you compete nationally with the big boys. http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=700201
Scout reports no interest from Terrance Henry at this point. Rivals says that Henry will officially visit 5 other schools, and unofficially visit LSU. Things seem to be growing farther and farther apart for Terrance Henry and LSU.
If you could have one guy commit B4 the spring who would it be? GM's out b/c we know he's waiting until the last. I'm pushing for chris singleton. I saw somewhere that he can play the 1-4. That type of person would go well with whoever else we get.
If you eliminate Greg Monroe, and you're asking what guy would I most want to commit (not having seen any of these guys play), you'd have to say the next highest ranked players are J'Mison Morgan or Chris Singleton. Morgan immediately gives you a 6'10 ish guy who at 265 is already ready to play down low. While I'm intrigued by what Singleton can do, this teams needs a low-post presence. For all of the folks that have bashed Brady for his methodical low post offense, defense and rebounding have been the hallmarks of Brady successful teams. And, this team has quickly gone to a team of "swing forwards" and guards--we'll see how that plays this year. So, while the thought of a 6'8" SF that can shoot, dribble and bring the ball up sounds interesting, I feel like this team needs Morgan more. We've got Tasmin and Randolph who potentially could play like Singleton--albeit they are probably less athletic. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Singleton commit, being a high profile GA recruit, but I pick based upon need. If you ask me who I'd like to "realistically" sign in the early period, out of Harris, Warren, and Moore, I'd probably pick Moore, with a close second being Harris (I'm also assuming 'Chokes is right, and Henry is out of the picture). Warren I'd be happy with too, though.
No-relation- at just live here in the Atlanta area! And have been watching the Atlanta Celtics over the last 10 years or so:lol: Harris-Graham are two players that would make a team like LSU so much better in a year or so..... Harris is a 6'10 Kid that can place the ball on the floor and make thing's happen.. He just so happen to play's on the NUMBER ONE AAU TEAM:lsup: In the country check out this issue of RISE..........Graham is the hardest worker I've seen in a long time.... The Atlanta Celtics prepare kids better then anyone for the next level! LSU NEEDS THE BALL TO GO INTO BASKET Right? get them two ASAP!! Let's hope Harris and Graham make's a commitment to be a Tiger!!!!!!!!!! The both of them are at GA TECH TODAY I understand Dennis Harris will be down there in three weeks or so? I will ask around and see if there's any coverage on him (STANDBY) On him......Not sure what Graham is doing? But can find out! The crew that I know over at the Celtics Camp! Tells me That Dennis will commit very soon! He has a 3.7 GPA and ready to get it done and over- Coach also told Me that he just turn down two school in the the "BIG EAST" over the weekend....... And RICE IS OUT OF THE PICTURE:nope: LSU-UCF>??????????????????:911:
Thanks for the update. I'd love to have Dennis Harris here. I just really like the line he posts from off the bench. That's something LSU really needs. As for Delwan Graham, I didn't know he was considering LSU anymore. Of course I'd be drooling to get him. I hear he's an animal and never turns his motor off on the court.
New prospect: Wesley Witherspoon. He lists LSU and claims an offer. http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=53825 He's money from down-town and medium range. He'd be quite a mismatch for other teams if we played him at SG.
