Wright was recruited by Nikita Johnson and decided not to come once Nikita left and went to coach La Tech. Rolle either didnt feel Brady was using him right or just didnt like Brady. Still up in the air on that one.
just heard that USC commit Leonard Washington schollie was pulled. He is from Lake Charles any word on if LSU is even after him. USC didn't think he was going to qualify but due to summer school looks like he will and he has reopened his recruiting. Just wondering being that he is a local boy. I'm not sure if we even have a schollie for him. He is a 6'6 200lbs SF and according to scout is a big time scorer.
LSU had recruited him, but had backed off on him due to grades. This kid was considered a fairly high recruit (top 70 or so), because he's a good athlete (played some TE in high school too). But, from what I could tell LSU was never high on him, and vice versa. I think he would consider a schollie from LSU, but honestly, prep school might be the best option. Getting his grades in order and taking another year before "resubmitting" his recruitment, might be better for LSU's recruiting anyway. Right now, I see LSU staying away from him, and using its three schollies for the crop of LA rising juniors.
thanks only reason i ask is cause i had read that UK has re-offered him in hopes he qualifies after summer school.
Didnt know where to put this but it has some recruiting info. The Good and Bad News for Each SEC Team. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2907892
wow. i see that cjb isnt the only crappy sec coach. kennedy sux because 4 players transferred stansbury sux because the delk brothers transferred.
All this is per scout. But it looks like LSU ended up offering him again. If everything goes according to plan he will announce on friday. Any thoughts? I think it would be good another local talent plus if all is right he can score and we need that.
