Does 2009 count as the near future? We have a superstar Sophomore Point Guard commitment right now.

Nothing against Voogd, but Oregon HS athletics can't compare to that in Texas. Houston and Dallas have some very good HS basketball teams.
What's more telling is to watch the kid's film. The kid is built like a rock and can penetrate to the hole, lift up and hit the nice floater. He's also able to get inside off the dribble, and despite his size, steal a few rebounds. He's working on his long outside shot, but he will immediately give us speed and the ability to penetrate and dish, which is something this team cannot do right now. Although, I did like how Ben played in his last game... perhaps there's hope there. (see Rivals latest article: http://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=637375). By the way, the Garrett Green watch continues. The boy is up to a crazy +80% FG% (hitting 2s and 3s). Not scoring a lot of points, but he's a decent shooter. Could he be the next Chris Johnson... ? http://www.maxpreps.com/FanPages/Pl...thleteID-9bbb9a64-316c-40e3-8389-d4e1c0cfdfd4 :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. For all those interested, here's a relevant article on the PG saga at LSU. Certainly paints the same picture many of us have been lamenting. But, know that the staff knows this and is trying to work on it... http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/5800306.html :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. PACK THE PMAC.
