According to Rivals, Willie Warren will be attending the Arkansas game. We reaaaaaally need a win there to open up his eyes.

Ok, we're all arm chair recruiters on this thread, and I think it's very easy to second guess Brady's recruiting tactics when there isn't the scrutiny paid to high school recruiting in hoops like there is in football.

But, here is the question. I've been watching the LA landscape for unsigned guards, and two of them actually were highlighted today in the Advocate after having big games. Josh White, a 5-8 PG at Christian Life, and Bo Spencer, a 6-2 PG at Glen Oaks. According to national rags, these guys are probably 2 star-ish guys, but both are probably all district and fighting for mid-major (possibly high major) schollies. The deal with Josh White is he's a brother of Quannas White who left LA to go to OK, he's a quick, smart PG but undersized. Spencer is a good 3 point shooter, with good IQ, but not particularly quick or athletic.

So, I have not seen either of them play (nor do I know whether they were interested in LSU--I believe White was always leaning away from LSU, but Spencer was interested at one time), but according to reports, they are probably some of the better unsigned LA guards. Would any of you armchair recruiting experts pulled the trigger on either of these guys? If so, let's see where they end up down the road. We clearly need a PG, and everyone here wants Brady to sign guards, but the question is are the available LA talent a better sign than an out of state higher ranked sign?

Personally, I probably would not have been as desparate to sign Green this year, and would have saved that schollie for someone like a White, Spencer, or Kevin Branch, who might have fit in better and had a potential to help us at the guard level...

With Tack being potentially expelled, it opens up another scholarship...

Looks like attrition is still a problem.

LOL, I'm a bit late but are there any good guards coming to LSU in the
    near future?
We need some shooters not just a plain guard either!:yelwink2:
