I just read an article on scout saying that randolph is holding a press conference sometime tomorrow to make it official.
People who have Scout said that AR was 'blown away by the campus, practice facilities, and players alike'. LSU!
Probably no big deal but Dandydon added it in breaking news section today, and now it is gone. I hope he just wants to wait until the news conference tomorrow.
DOH!!! Rivals is now reporting that contrary to "internet reports" Randolph is not committing to LSU today. He's still deciding between Texas and LSU, and will make his announcement on October 17th. Wow, what is the state of reporting these days to get this wrong. :dis: Let's all say a few words of whatever as we wait together.... :sob:
According to a member of this Texas board's 'reliable source', it's down to LSU and UT for J'Covan Brown's services. Is Texas our new rival or something? LSU! http://forums.hornfans.com/php/wwwt...4502487&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0&fpart= J'Covan Brown would be a huuuuuuge pickup for us. A good backcourt pickup at a right time. He's a combo guard that shoots from the NBA range effortlessly. He has an array of Sebastian Telfair-like moves, and is a good driver. Apparently, from what I've heard, he has some attitude problems. Also, he might not make good enough grades to play.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves on to 2008... So, as you all probably know, Anthony Randolph's decision is a day by day watch. The Advocate reports that Rick Barnes and his assistant immediately flew up to Dallas for an at-school visit to sway AR once the Scout leaked their story, and I sure hope that Brady and Butch are doing the same thing soon. http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/4306722.html Not necessarily a news conference today, and not necessarily on the 17th. We're in a wait and see mode, and it stinks.:sob: You know AR is getting the hometown Texas pressure now, and I hope he and his family can sort through the bias to see the light. :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. SIX NBA LOTTERY PICKS... AND COUNTING.
