You are thinking is too narrow and you seem to only remember the bad spots of the season. Those 2 were not the only fast PGs he defended. You will see that he will start every game minus injury and will still be one of the best defenders in the league. Defense wins games and defense leads to dunks and excitement.
So, Rivals reports today that the visit with Garrett Green went well, and he liked the team, team chemistry and thought LSU was a unique kind of place with a very good team. It turns out that LSU offered Green this weekend after he played some with the team, but he didn't accept b/c "it was such a big decision" and it seems others are now interested in the kid--including USC, Arizona State and Texas A&M--although he was tempted to commit on the spot. He's considering visiting Arizona State and possibly USC, at this point. He has offers from LSU and Wyoming. Here's the scouting report according to Rivals: Garrett Green scouting report: An above average athlete at 6-foot-9, Green can score the ball in a variety of ways. He can post and finish as well as shoot the three-pointer. Runs the floor well, but must become a more physical defender and defensive rebounder. Remind you of anyone? Another Ross Neltner perhaps? I don't know what to think of this... the kid's going to probably end up going to a Pac-10 school to stay closer to home, and now we've got an offer extended. Let's just all keep our fingers crossed that Martavius Adams realizes that Cincinnati is NOT where he wants to be (after taking his last visit) and/or Randolph really gets the royal treatment this weekend on his visit. :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. SIX NBA LOTTERY PICKS... AND COUNTING.
[Until we got EMBARRASSED in the Final Four. We were not competitive at any time during that game, and that is because the offense was sucking hind tit.[/QUOTE] We were starting three freshmen vs an experienced team. How do you expect them to play their best every day. Temple may be slow as well as Reddick. However, Reddick didn't have any problems getting his shot off most of the season.
He hasn't been able to step on the field. I'm talking about the star rating of prospects having questionable correlation to their academic progress/ability.
i know and you are right but who knows if he will ever play....thats the chance you take on these kids who are high stars but struggle with there academics are they really worth the trouble if some of them might never step on the field/court?
Tigerrag is saying that Green commited http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=107&p=8&c=1&nid=2113467 hope thats a good thing
