Matt got him another big. Noah Boyed is a 7'0, 230 pound JUCO transfer. 247sports ranks him as the #4 JUCO prospect in the country. Only averaged 11 and 8 last year, so sounds like a project signing to me.
I think boyed will be a designated fouler and defensive specialist for opponents with a dominant post big. which is not many teams in modern basketball. modern bigs that dominate are not post players. they shoot 3's and pass. in college there are more proper post players than in the NBA, but still there are not many. players like baker who score down low are limited elsewhere and don't have a big role on most teams. the future of pro basketball is positionless. college, less so because of a lack of talent that can play all positions. like naz Reid for instance is 6'10 and strong as a bull, he spends every eposssion on the wing at the sideline 3 point line. I think coach will reward loyalty and start ward and reed and pair them with the two veteran transfer guards. maybe.

Javonte Dedrick Smart (born June 3, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Crvena zvezda thats red star belgrade which is pretty sweet . they are a powerhouse in eurobasket. these are great teams where Luka and jokic come from.
Puerto Rico beat Lithuania 79-68 and clinch the final Olympic spot for men’s basketball. Led by José Alvarado (23pts, 6reb) & Tremont Waters (18pts. Tremont waters is a spectacularly talented player. I stood next to him when I saw him on campus once, he is more or less my exact size. I am 5'9. if he were 6'4 he would be an all-star in the NBA. he is tiny. he can do everything on the court. its just he is way way too little. what a great college player though. maybe he should learned to play shortstop both Tremont and I are bigger than Steven milam and he is a real pro prospect.
