Matt got him another big. Noah Boyed is a 7'0, 230 pound JUCO transfer. 247sports ranks him as the #4 JUCO prospect in the country. Only averaged 11 and 8 last year, so sounds like a project signing to me.

I think boyed will be a designated fouler and defensive specialist for opponents with a dominant post big. which is not many teams in modern basketball.

modern bigs that dominate are not post players. they shoot 3's and pass. in college there are more proper post players than in the NBA, but still there are not many. players like baker who score down low are limited elsewhere and don't have a big role on most teams. the future of pro basketball is positionless. college, less so because of a lack of talent that can play all positions.

like naz Reid for instance is 6'10 and strong as a bull, he spends every eposssion on the wing at the sideline 3 point line.

I think coach will reward loyalty and start ward and reed and pair them with the two veteran transfer guards. maybe.

thats red star belgrade which is pretty sweet . they are a powerhouse in eurobasket. these are great teams where Luka and jokic come from.

Puerto Rico beat Lithuania 79-68 and clinch the final Olympic spot for men’s basketball. Led by José Alvarado (23pts, 6reb) & Tremont Waters (18pts.

Tremont waters is a spectacularly talented player. I stood next to him when I saw him on campus once, he is more or less my exact size. I am 5'9. if he were 6'4 he would be an all-star in the NBA. he is tiny.

he can do everything on the court. its just he is way way too little. what a great college player though.

maybe he should learned to play shortstop both Tremont and I are bigger than Steven milam and he is a real pro prospect.

Tigers add Matt Gilhool, consensus 4 star from Pennsylvania. Top recruit from PA is ranked 62-85 in the nation by on3, rivals and 247. 6’10”, he’s 14th ranked power forward in the country by on3, 17th by 247.

Verbal commit from Mazi Mosley, 4-star SG out of Montverde Academy. Top 100 prospect on all 4 major recruiting sites, as high as 40th overall on Rivals. If Mosley and Gilhool follow through and sign and we can pick up Chris Cenac, this will be a very good recruiting class (without Cenac, on3 rates this the 10th best class in the country)

I like these recruits and am optimistic. but i have said that before.

I think the transfer Jordan Sears from Tenn-martin is gonna be the startin PG. he can really shoot. he is very small.

i also think that part of the mcmahon philophy is trying to keep players and develop them and not be forced to go to the portal to fill big holes. part of that strategy i think is to reward loyal players that do not leave. so i think that means reed and ward will start. i also think fountain will start, he is a 5th year vet. he has a low ceiling but a high floor. he will be ok and the guys behind him will work hard in practive to take his minutes, which is good.

    projected game 1 starters:

    1. Jordan sears
    2. K state transfer cam carter
    3. ward
    4. reed
    5. fountain

keeping in mind that the 5 is not a real true center position, as modern basketball doesn't really work like that anymore. the bigs now must play outside or the spacing is ruined.

there is an open exhibition/practice monday. I will geaux to that and let y'all niggas know how they look.
