I understand that, he was punished for breaking rules repeatedly. What I'm trying to get people to realize is that this is a rule that needs to be changed. Or if not, the way it's treated needs to be changed. Why not have a program to help these young men instead of automatic suspensions, and being booted. As far as I know marijuana isn't tested for in the professional game, why is it tested for in college? Why not just test for amphetamines and PED's? Here is a guy, who hasn't been pulled over stoned like Dre Kirkpatrick, who didn't boot anyone's skull in like Jordan Jefferson, didn't discharge a weapon like Rolando McClain, or resist arrest like Riley Cooper. Tyrann should have been given help. And also should have been kept away from Jordan Jefferson. When I heard the interview after Ty was kicked off the team, he stated he was getting great advice from Jordan Jefferson, and I knew that was a mistake. Jordan Jefferson, a senior leader who gets his team in a bar brawl a week before the season starts, when your team is sitting top 3.

I wish Ty nothing but the best, and I just hope that people will start to question the policies and rules that are outdated and ridiculous, and pressure for changes to be made.

correct. every person that has ever been worth a damn in history has found the human experience to be stressful enough to require the occasional intoxicant. we need to grow the fuck up abot it.

There are legal intoxicants that poor college football players can abuse. I'd love to see marijuana legalized, but until then, self-discipline please.

Yea I just looked it up you are right, there has to be something going on though, league doctors getting paid off, or something. It won't be too long though before the cba allows it.

The league doesn't care about weed until you're taking mandatory drug tests as part of the substance abuse program. And personal friends have told me unless youre preparing for the draft, weed does not get you on the program. PED's, hard drugs, DUI's, getting caught in airports with masking agents like whizzinators...get you in the program. If weed got them put in the program, the vast majority of them would be in the program and getting suspensions left and right. The CBA lists weed because its illegal. But that's like the one universal drug in most pro sports. It's a safe bet that more of them are habitual pot users than habitual drinkers. The league does not care about marijuana. But they have to fake it to make it.

Tyrann still needs a lesson in discipline. Hopefully not having football taught him that. Seemed genuine to me.
