He can try, but directional punts are a tricky thing and they can be easily shanked. And everyone knows by now that Nick doesn't have the kicker to get that job done. That leaves pooch kicks or short ones with a lot of hangtime. Both of which spell good LSU field position. This is the more likely scenario, relying on the D.
Saban will test the waters and kick to the Honey Badger. If the special team (LSU's) does its job, Saban will only kick to him once and then be scared to kick to him again. But I do think Saban tests the waters.
If you were a coach would you ??? Of course not. So no I seriously doubt unless its a field position issue (IE they are punting from the 50, etc). I am no coach but I am not dumb. You dont kick it to him with space. No different that us with their guy. You kick it in the corner and try to box him in. See what they are doing to PP now in the NFL.
Either way it gives him one more problem to take into consideration. Kick it to him or eff up and kick 20 yards and out of bounds. I think Saban kicks it to him to start. That won't last long
That sumbitch has no pride. He gave it all up when he sold his soul. He tries to inject fear into his players and assistants and chases the dollar. He wants to win by any means necessary. No pride. No conscience. Straight up b*tch of a man.
