Do you think TM7 will play on Sundays? I know he's only a sophmore, but I don't think he will make it to the NFL. Granted he has great ball skills and makes some incredible plays, but he hasn't shown that he can be a good cover corner and he's awfully small. Works good in the nickle for us, but I'm not sold on him being anything close to a shutdown corner.

He is still a younger player. There are some athletes that are capable of overcoming their size. Shutdown corner, no, but he could be a safety if he continues to improve.

    As a corner? No

I can see him playing some nickel or on special teams.

Honey Badger tries to strip the ball every chance he gets. Unfortunately, he misses tackles by doing this and is not a shut down corner.

He will always have the 'lack of size' knock on him. But now he's adding 'attitude problems' to that list. It's not looking good even though he is a playmaker. If I were an NFL GM, I'm not sure I would draft him. I hope he proves me wrong though.

This. HB has great ball instincts, but he's too enamored with going after the big play rather than sticking to his fundamentals. He's also too small to consistently match up with big NFL receivers.

Nickel back in a Zone defense. He is not fast or big enough for man2man.

So far he looks like a typical 6th or 7th round pick...one of those picks that are low costs bets..if it works good for you, if it doesn't you cut the guy and move on. What is his 40 yards time?

He will be a very good nickel back. He's never been a true cover corner, and I believe we only put him at the second CB position over Simon because of his knack for making plays. NFL teams all want a guy who forces turnovers and has great football instincts.
