I'll have you know that Bud is a fine, upstanding citizen, and runs a quality head shop with only the finest feaux synthetic marijuana west of the Divide. So, TM7/TM32(?) will be in capable hands out here in the Valley. Actually, I am hoping that PP21 will break Tyrann's raisins if the kid steps outta line & tries to make PP21 & the Cards into a laughingstock.
Ran across that via a tweet yesterday. The ad left me speechless. Now, trying to put myself in a LSU fans shoes...TM's likeness being used wouldn't have sat well with me. I have no idea what the New Times publication out of Phoenix is all about...didn't bother to look them up on their website.
I thought it was funny. America as a whole is becoming weed-friendly as all the polls, even the Fox News one, show half the country is already in favor of legalizing it http://www.pollingreport.com/drugs.htm And that is especially true out West where two states have already legalized it and where they legalized medical marijuana for a while now Heck, over two decades ago, my friend from Louisiana went to college in Arizona, and told me back then that weed was to Arizona what alcohol is to Louisiana. And that was back before head shops started springing up and becoming common here in Louisiana The bad news for TM7 though, is it might not be legalized or made okay by the NFL during TM7's NFL career so he's still got to stay away from it.
This is from a July 2012 article in the Arizona Republic interviewing the director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, Will Humble, about the medical marijuana program in Arizona: Q: Have you ever tried pot either recreationally or medically? A: Yes. Recreationally. When I was in college at NAU (Northern Arizona University). ... Q: Did you inhale? A: Yes, I inhaled.
Is it correct to assume that the legal (synthetic) weed would be fine for NFL players to use? If so, that could benefit TM in the short term. Or can the Cardinals enforce a "team rule" like LSU (apparently?) did? It's kind of a shame that (some) of these legal drugs have much more of a negative impact to the body than illegal pot yet are becoming more mainstream because of employer testing.
