Wow. Fellow TF members, I just want you guys to know that this football game was the best football experience of my life. I will say that going into this game I was worried about how the fans would be but aside from a "tigerbait" here and there, it was pleasant. I was even offered a few beers and actually met a former member of this board (lsutiga). Wish I could have met more of you. You guys do have the best fans. You guys have the best cheers (my favorite was the Ooooooooh TIGERS! Ooooh I Ooooh TIGERS!) That was freakin awesome! As far as the game, I just cant express what a great game this has been over the past few years but this one takes the cake! When that FG was blocked, I thought that we were cooked. The noise was off the charts and the momentum was in the Tigers favor. Your defense played good tonight. I feel bad for your QB. Sure, he made some critical mistakes, but he's only a RSF. Although Julio had some drops, I'm really excited about him. He's getting better and better each game! Great game! Great atmosphere! I cant wait to come back! Thanks for a nice post. When you Bama fans get back home you all should chip in for a real nice gift for Lee. He was the difference in the game and your best player.
To his credit, one of them wasnt his fault but I see what you're saying. Give our safety Rashad Johnson some credit though.
Congrats. It's going to be a very rude awakening against Florida, however. Bama is one of the weakest #1 teams I have ever seen in my life. Solid, yes. But nowhere close to being a #1 team. I am sure most of you guys are realists. At least I hope so. Cuz it will be ugly in the SEC CG. Oh the humanity!
Julio is a freak of nature, you don't see WR's like him every week. He's really going to be scary when he gets more comfortable with what he's supposed to be doing.
Agree Julio is a beast. I don't want to face him in the coming years. Peterson vs Jones. A classic battle. We saw it on that last play inside the 5. Peterson played him as well as you can but Jones is so good.
Nobody gave us a chance against Miami in 92 either... We're not great, but UF did lose to Ole Miss this year... I wouldn't count us out yet. We needed a game like this tonight. We needed to win a close one. This team is hungry...I cant wait to go to Atlanta!
