He damn sure implied it...THEN said he'd have to watch the film. Hell, he was there...he's the one that decided to mass sub at that time...that's his problem. And he whined all game anyway. He's a little btch whose eyes are too close together.
He said "the rules say you have to be given time to substitute, if the offense subs, i'm going to have to go back and look at the film" if that isn't implying that he wasn't given time to sub i don't know what is.
he had to. they were in a goalline package, and LSU sent out 3 wr. no way they can defend 3 wide with all them big guys.
He certainly implied the officials were at fault, and that he intended to confirm that via the film. Either way, he was dignified and coherent, and a good loser notwithstanding the reservation about the officials. He had more right than some other coaches to be evasive, belligerent, incoherent, and divisive.
I agree that he is wrong. However I have seen the video of his interview and have no problem with what he said.
With that clusterfrick LSU had going on, he should've said "No guys, let's just watch this implosion". And LSU (Miles, Crowton, whoever) was also stupid to try and sub like that in that situation with no TOs left. I agree with the call to put JJ in and have the option play at this point on the field. But play #2 is clock it...then regroup. Period. When that didn't happen, Tennessee should've just watched.
agree that what we did was a complete clusterfk. but had JJ actually caught T-Bob's snap, we woulda had some serious mismatches. So Dooley had to substitute.
