I saw on another forum that of Holtz, May and Herbstreit, May was the only one who was picking LSU. Holtz picked OSU to win by 14.
This goes back several years, but recently, he picked us to beat texas (feel free to correct me if i miss one or two of these, but i'm fairly sure) with VY, then picked colt & co to beat us last year, along with picking Iowa to beat us last year, picked us last year in the MNC, picked us to beat Illinois this year. I think he's usually pretty spot on, but for whatever reason, he's been a kiss of death in some big games when it comes to the buckeyes.
Its all fake. They are told who to "Talk Up" . If you remember ....after the SECC game it was Holtz who was pulling for LSU while M. May was pulling for OKLA. Then Herbie said he thought it should be LSU ("even though that is not what is on my cue card")
He pretty much usually picks the home team. He just likes putting on the mask and getting the gameday crowd jacked up. I wouldn't put too much into his picks.
