    WWL reported 30 mintues ago that Hollis Thomas was removed from IR and then cut by the Saints!

    When I saw he was out for the season due to a triceps injury I figured something was squirrly.

    Obviously, something was up.

    Channel 8 news said at 530 that he is on an injury settlement which means that when the time limit for the rehab is up he is allowed to resign with the Saints or any other team.

    I have never heard of that term.

    Oh yeah, it's called rehabulus maximus.

    I always forget about that caveat that usually ends up in NFL contracts.
