In general I have a hard time blaming kids for looking out for their own future, but quitting with 2 weeks to go in the season would ordinarily not be my cup of tea. Leaving before a meaningless bowl game generally doesn't bother me. In this case, however, the season would ordinarily be over by now. These are just COVID makeup games so I can't really blame Marshall. He has played really well, one of the few that can say that. His coaches have failed him and many of his teammates quit weeks ago.
I find that hard to believe. It may be a contributing factor, but it sure looks like inept coaching. Pelini has been able to turn it around.
I hate losing talent but do I blame them to protect their chance at obtaining generational wealth? N o p e
What is the % of all ,not just LSU, BUT ALL OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL . How make make it to the pros . 15 ??
Historically, the attraction of football, over B-Ball and Baseball was that it was an integrated team sport. B-ball has become a game of individuals, and baseball is not far off. Now football is coming down to 11 individuals rather than a team. It's no wonder the game is no longer all that special to me.
