And why do other programs at least stays competitive when their stars leave? We are just absolutely horrible!

I can't see where any of these guys who have opted out will improve their draft status. Avoiding possible injury, yes, but I think some of the NFL teams will see this as selfish and question their loyalty and commitment to their teams. The best players are typically taken by the worst teams. The NFL teams want to know that the guy they pay millions to will strap it on and give his best no mater the score or the team record.

Excellent question. Saban has Alabama at elite status year in and year out; other programs as well. I still can't reconcile the dropoff for LSU between last year and this year, even with the craziness of 2020.

That would confirm what I’ve thought about this move from the beginning. We have a con man in charge and we win on talent alone because the players behind our “hired Mercenaries” are not getting coached....their play shows it. Huge drop off from starters to backups. We are not seeing that big of a drop in the other elite teams.

It would be fitting if these allegations (investigations) cost him his job and buyout. He and Joe organized a coup d’etat to get him into the position and now he may have to fall on the sword to save the program.

    How apropos!

A shitty offensive game plan that does not showcase their NFL level talent?

To be fair, that trend started long before O arrived.

I’ve said forever, that it seems so many of our so called "elites" see making the team as the goal. Suiting up seems to be enough. Obviously the stars aligned last year, but as we are witnessing, that appears to be the exception.

You can leave early but you do not quit your fucking team mid season. Dick move and I wouldn’t want him on my team, sorry. He’s not a Tiger for life imo

Has had to fight through lots of injuries this year. If Myles was there I think he guts it out, but at some point you owe it to your family to do what's best for them and you future.

    Thank you, Terrace.

He didn't get paid like all the coaches and others who left or cashed in last year and he showed up and tried to lead.
