Bama has owned LSU 3 of the last 4 meetings , will that have an impact on this game . This ain't being played IN BR Alabama Geaux Tigers ,
:geaux: You beat me to it. The '07 game was in Tuscalooser and then in Baton Rouge last year. :thumb: Nick & Les are 2 - 2 against one another. :LSU231:
Bama has home field adv. but their greatest adv. is the home cooking of the refs. It would be a damn shame for this game to be a flag fest aginst lsu by an officiating crew supported by the sec. It's a shame that the sec allows this to happen. I would hope that all the other teams would ban together in the offseason and force the sec to stop this. If every other team would refuse to play in the state of Alabama until the home cooking stoped and do it publicly maybe things will change. Bad calls have cost us aginst au and bama. I'm sure teams like Tennessee have had the same experience. The sec office should be moved out of Alabama.
Well .. History doesn't mean squat!! If there is any history that sort of applies, it would be last year. McElroy, J Jones, Richardson, Ingram, and the entire Bama defense. got their butts handed to them by an LSU team with no offense. This year ... McElroy, JJones, and Ingram are gone, all that is left is the same defense and Richardson .. AND ..this LSU team has found an offense that is putting up some major points ... in AWAY venues. I think this will be "expose" game for Bama. They ain't as good as you think they are. :geaux:
Is this guy still drinking at 4:48 in the morning? The link he put in his post even makes him sound out of it. :dis:
LSU won 2 of the last 4 and 7 of the last 10. Hhistory has anything to do with Saturday, but if you are going to use it as a basis to make a staement, you should get it right.
Additionally, the talking heads are playing up the "homefield" advantage angle of the game, instead of mentioning that, historically, the home team has had the disadvantage in this series.
