And on the subject of Powell.....what an asshole. I never was a fan as I've stated. He's a political General. Only the 3rd General to reach four-star rank without ever serving as a division commander. 4 stars in 10 years...no war. Yet, this email more than proves that Hillary was well aware of security concerns particularly in the use of her crackberry.

Powell was a piker, politically, to Petraeus. As the Navy Admiral termed Petraeus, "You little shit." Loved that one!

My best friend did planning estimating in the generals' and admirals' houses at Fort Meyer. He thought Powell was a great guy so I temper my thoughts, based on that.

OBTW, you cannot imagine how much was spent on those homes!

I'm sure he was very nice to the help. His real self came out in that email. Arrogant, sneaky, entitled, disrespectful. He doesn't deserve those stars.

Powell wasn't a fighting general however he earned my respect for what he Schwartzkopf and a few others did to rebuild the Army after Vietnam to the fighting machine of Gulf War 1.

 

Powell forever lost my respect when he built the case for war against Iraq at the United Nations.... when he KNEW that the information he was presenting was bogus. PEOPLE DIE IN WARS.
