This is why Hillary is an insidious bitch. At some point she went from no classified material, to no material marked classified. I remember the first time I heard the turn of phrase. I thought immediately of slick willie, "what is,is"

And why she continues to get away with it. If we have 3 short bus riders on this board that have no clue (even though they think they do) imagine if you apply that ratio to the country. Good lord we are overrun with em.

read again--didn't say it changed the status.
but if its unmarked it is unmarked. I assume the reason markings have been discussed is because it lowers the culpability.

When I was a kid, I was mesmerized by magicians and their tricks. And then I learned about sleight of hand and diversions. Works the same way with words.

Once again, beings you feel off the bus. If the issuing agency classifies it then it is classified until THEY say it is no longer classified. If it is unmarked the question would be how did it get that way. I have an idea but I wasn't there. I'm saying this because of Comey the clowns words "110 emails in 52 chains contained classified info that was deemed classified by the issuing agency at the time they were sent" That blows the only 3 theory right out of the water. Spilled milk, sure, semantics no. Classified is classified.
Can only go by what he said

dude, the "3" as you and tiga were discussing does refer to the number that were marked. many more were classified but not marked. are we done now?

Lol. It's a lot more than that and you know it. I have asked you many times what we should be doing that we are not and you just don't know. You bitch and moan about Obama failures and cannot name any. The Pentagon wants no part of a Syrian invasion or a war with Russia over Assad. It is not in our interests. In fact, both Russia and the US recognize that if Assad's government collapses, Syria is guaranteed to be taken over by islamist groups, either ISIS or the Syrian rebels that are NOT OUR FRIENDS OR RUSSIA's. We are cooperating with Russia for a very good reason. It's their quagmire and they know they own it and we want them to stay there and try to keep a lid on things at their expense. May their war be endless.

What the hell are you talking about? We left no "vacuum" because we were never there and have never been a player in Syria, they have always been an enemy. Russian has been Syria's supporter for 45 years. They have had bases there for decades. Taking on Syrian has always meant taking on Russia. We don't want the place, it is filled with anti-Americans. We support Israel, which is delighted at the prospects of Russia, Iran, Syria, ISIS and Hezbollah all fighting each other instead of Israel.

Delivered what? The civil war rages on and Assad grows weaker and the Russians will have to take on more and more themselves. Sound familiar? Did you really want us to go in and back some group that hates us so that we can occupy the place for the next 10 years taking casualties? What would we get for that? Nothing.

OK, ... WHAT EXACTLY should Obama have done that he did not do? Our war is with ISIS and we are hitting them hard. What should he have done? Spell it out. Invade Syria? Destroy the Russian bases there? What? What do we care about Assad's regime going to hell except to let it happen and keep them fighting ISIS.

You didn't mind calling me ignorant, better toughen up. I am having fun blowing your poorly-thought-out argument to ribbons. Got anything else?

For the most part, yes. But "around the world" does not mean they're everywhere, all the time. Covert CIA intelligence was likely in country but we had no SPEC OPS causing havoc in Afghanistan before 9/11. It's on the record that they got there in 10 days and started working overtly with the anti-Taliban groups immediately. That's a pretty damned fast deployment to a place that far away, remote, and lacking close bases.
