So you've put all your cash under our bed those times too? You insinuated an implosion. Which we have not had.

At one time in this country we took the stance of protect the dollar at all cost. Because a strong dollar will help pull other economic numbers up. However over the last at least 25 years that has not been the case. So it can and will crash at some point in the future, our debt load is unsustainable.

The world economy is far more complex than simply the value of the dollar. Dollar value fluctuates over time around a floating balance point, because both an expensive dollar and a cheap dollar are bad. The dollar is the worlds reserve currency and because of that it is not nearly as volatile as world economies and far less volatile than the stock market. The dollar may decline for a while, but it won't "crash". The stock market does crash from time to time and that is where my money is. Nobody times investments on the value of the dollar, but on the health of the stock markets and the world economy.

We have had quite a number of large depressions and recessions. What in the world are you talking about? Smart money goes to cash when they can see a problem ahead. It goes into play when the future looks bright.

How many times have we defaulted on our debt as you mentioned?

I mean, do you understand the concept of defaulting on debt? The dollar would plummet.

And if the US defaulted on their debt as you suggested, what do you think the dollar would become? A stable force? LOL no.

The reason we can even amass the amount of debt we currently have is directly related to how strong our dollar is and how well our Economy is run.

Anyway, this is all pointless as the chances of the US defaulting on our debt is Zero.

Nothing to refute because there is nothing new. The fact that their investigation is a criminal one is common knowledge and has been for some time.
