This is exactly why we need someone who is not an established candidate. The closest to that is ben carson, but I'm not sold on him either. I know this if we are served up bush and clinton, im sitting this one out

As bad as all of the Republican candidates are I would vote for the devil before I would vote for hrc. The worse thing that could happen to freedom and our rights is that she or any forseeable Democrat be able to appoint Supreme Court justices who would pervert the meaning of the constitution. So I'll hold my nose and vote for whoever emeges from the clown show.

Another of your long standing claims, yet if you look at recent decisions they have went against what many on the right would have wanted them to do. Even your buddy Roberts has seemed to have drifted a lot farther left than what most of us thought he was. I don't see how you could complain about the sitting justices. I for one am deep seated on the right and I'm more than upset with many of their rulings as of late.

You are totally clueless as to how the media works. If there is one of those Dummies books about understanding the media you should read it. I'll give you a little primer to educate you.

    1. Something bad happens, in this case the attack on Benghazi. All media organizations report the story. No spin at first. Despite the widely disparate political leanings between them they compete with each other to be first with the story for ratings and to make money. The first reports from all of them are simply the story of what happened.

    2. The POTUS, SOS and other's in the administration say that the attacks were caused by an anti-muslim video. All the media from Fox to CNN to NYT to WAPO to MSNBC report the administration's spin on it as part of the ongoing story. The links you posted were all from stories whose timeline fit this narrative.

    3. The media outlets begin to investigate. Placing the blame on a YouTube video sounds suspicious. Now the spinmeisters go into full spin mode. It eventually is revealed that the video story was bullshit.

    _____________________________________________________________

It takes a lot of knowhow and work to make a YouTube video go viral. Sometimes it happens by luck but usually because it has been promoted by the creator on blogs, websites and other social media. It is very hard to get the kind of traffic that many video creators want. The most viewed YouTube channel is one by a man who goes by the name of PewDiePie. He reviews video games and makes $12 Million per year. But most people who upload a video promoting whatever business opportunity, money making scheme or scam, affiliate products, ect. make absolutely nothing. The few that do have the knowhow to get the desired traffic do get varying numbers of views and make money. Sometimes just a funny video or something strange and unusual will go viral. YouTube is now owned by Google so the search rankings criteria are based on the relevance of the subject according to the same kinds of algorithms that produce their search engine results.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a video made by a friend who has a college football blog. He and others were holding cell phones in Leonard Fournette's face and asking him questions to which he responded. Maybe you saw it and were impressed by the poise and maturity shown by LF7. It is on my friends YouTube channel. At the time I posted it the video had only 16 views. After a week of being available to TF members it had 140 views. Hardly viral. And that's a subject most people here are interested in. Sometimes a video goes viral just because it's availabilty is made known by a popular radio or TV show. A woman who calls herself Phyllis from Mulga is a regular nutjob caller to the Paul Finebaum Show, which is now simulcast on TV on the SEC channel. Video just shows her face with the audio of the call where she rants to Colin Cowherd about his prediction of Alabama losing several games. It's the one where she calls Cowherd Cowturd. In one day the YouTube video had over 500,000 views and over a million after a week

The point of all that is to illustrate that you or anybody else can make an anti-muslim video and put it on YouTube. That doesn't mean very many people will see it. If you had a million Twitter followers and Facebook friends and promoted it that way you would likely generate a few thousand views. The guy who made the controversial video was not any kind of media maven with the skills to generate mass views. You would have to suspend belief to think that thousands of muslims in the middle east saw the video and were incited to simultaneously attack American facilities in several countries. On a day that just happened to coincide with the date of al qaeda's greatest triumph -- 9/11

I see the results, the way I see it, citizens United was far worse than anything. Sure ACA is clusterfuck but at least it can be fixed.

Now what could you have against this?

Citizens United's stated mission is to restore the United States government to "citizens' control," seeking to "reassert the traditional American values of limited government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security." To fulfill this mission, Citizens United produces television commercials, web advertisements, and documentary films

Unlimited money in politics is a terrible fucking idea. Corporate personhood is a terrible idea. Not having to disclose donors is a terrible idea.
