Open Trade and a true global economy has major downfalls. Not for the rich of course. Which is surprising as to why more Americans are NOT opposed to it. Globalization is just another word for moving to another market to take advantaged of poor workers. It would be better if true free trade regulations were in place, but often times these countries, such as China, place heavy restrictions to keep the money....in their country.
