Haven't packed shit in. Again, 1 loss yes, but three painful weeks! Our offense has serious issues! And if they dont fix them, 1 loss will turn into 4 very quick!

I havent packed it in, ill be at the game this saturday, but that doesnt change reality. You seem to think that reality is what ever you wish it to be. You probably believe the Wizard of Oz is a true story. Clicking your ruby slippers isnt going to fix the offense Dorathy.

It's not just a simple OC fix.

    Everyone takes responsibility.

Before the season started, I had posted something to the affect of "what if Mett actually sucks?" (in reference to all the hype). Does this count?
I said it before... this OL needs serious work. So many new guys, including the QB, PLUS we keep losing our starters which makes things even worse. I like Mett, and I still think eventually he will put it together. But, and I rarely do this, Les Miles IS running the same 4 or 5 plays over and over again. I don't usually harp on Miles, but if he isn't the one calling the plays, then someone needs to stop whoever is and tell him there are other plays. I think I saw the option once tonight which gave us positive yardage. But our OL looks pretty much like they're daydreaming out there sometimes. Miss JJ and JL? I don't know. It's true that things seemed to look a lot better last year (by comparison). But hell we all know these players are in for a few seasons, then gone.
No, I have to agree with the person who posted that this is not a QB issue. Sure, Mett's had his share of problems, but tonight he actually did well for the most part (other than the couple of times he held on to the ball too long... again...). This absolutely is a coaching staff issue. Tonights game was evidence of that for me (and actually, so was the Towson game). Running through the same plays repeatedly... you just can't do that. My wife and I sit here and watch these games every weekend. We always see the opposing team running some creative and confusing plays when nothing else is working. But LSU just keeps beating the same dead horse. I just don't get that. I like Miles a lot, but I sure wish he would light a fire under these kids butts and also let them run something besides "up the middle". Just when you think it's a good time for some special play, you see Ware running up the middle for 2 yards if we're lucky, and sometimes getting pushed back behind the line of scrimmage. And after every play like that, the entire OL just looks stoic. It's almost like they're feeding these guys downers before the game.

All you have to do is look at FU to see evidence of this. They're no Oregon on offense, but just look at the play they scored their first TD on. It was very creative misdirection/counter and it worked like a champ. I wish I could see ONE play from our offense that I've never seen them run before. Just one.

Has our offense just started struggling? It's been bad for a while. For all the folks who say, "I can't believe you're criticizing the guy, he keeps winning," we've seen this offense struggling for YEARS now. YEARS!!!

I didn't see a jump pass yesterday. I saw what may or may not have been a poorly executed attempt at one. Besides, that's not new either. Didn't we run one on them last year, when the game was no longer in doubt?
