So, I can still see Bama as a huge showdown. What are your thoughts on Ole Miss? I watched their game yesterday, and they got straight-up manhandled.
If I could have changed my prediction on Ole Miss I would have because they have no running game. Now they get that LT back next week, maybe that makes a difference and for a team that's as stout on D as they are with that man child Nkemdiche, I don't see how they aren't better. I think LSU beats Ole Miss, but the D has to step up on a decent passing offense. Right now, the only loss I see LSU getting is in either of the big 3 games left, Bama, Ole Miss, and A&M and the only way I see those as losses is if LSU beats themselves. LSU is the cream of the crop in the SEC and I was wrong preseason. It happens, and I'm glad I was. Hell it won't be the last time I'm wrong, just don't tell my wife that.
Ole Miss surely stunk it up yesterday. They'll play much better against us cause we'll be their bowl game. I know they'll probably be bowl eligible but the bowl game they likely end up with won't have as much meaning to them as beating us- especially if we go in undefeated.
I don't know if I'm considered a minion or not but I do know that the "sunshine pumpers" seem like a hostile lot. Not all... but quite a few of you seem rather unpleasant to be around. Can't we all just get along? I initially thought Auburn, South Carolina, Alabama and Arkansas were potential losses with AJ, but was cautiously optimistic once Harris was named the starter. I also thought USC would be better than they are and it was supposed to be a road game. Auburn is not nearly as good as they were supposed to be. Arkansas is a dumpster fire but it is the week after what is gonna be a very tough, emotional date with Bama. I'm still afraid we can't beat the midget in Tuscaloosa but I don't believe we lose two in a row. That means we have a very good shot at being a 1 loss team cause we just are not losing to Ole Miss or A&M. The team has some issues but are improving... the defense is a little shaky at times and the special teams are downright pitiful being the main problems. No one is happier than me that I was wrong with my initial prediction.
